With the cute kid factor off the charts, beautiful weather and perfect fall leaves, this year's fall sessions were a great success! My clients were rock stars, taking on the crazy Salem traffic and even a rain delay in the middle of the day. Salem Willows Park was a new location for CSP and it served my current and new clients well, I thought!Read More
Carriage House Violins has been a client of mine for a while and I love working with this full service string instrument shop in Newton Upper Falls. Recently, they were bought by Johnson String Instrument, and I was happy to photograph the grande re-opening of Carriage House Violins or Johnson String Instrument. The day entailed lots of performances mostly by Boston area kids' groups, which was so much fun. The kids had such pride in their accomplishment! And the evening had grown-up performers of exceptional talent (I'm sure they're proud of their accomplishments, too). All the while visitors could nosh on yummy apps, enjoy the music floating through the building, and explore the company's beautiful new expanded space.
Easy going Jessica got a hold of me a while back and asked me to be her wedding shooter. As I'd photographed her sister Beth's wedding last winter, I knew Jessica was going to be a fun person to be around. I was not wrong. Jessica married Brendan at the Andover Country Club. Misty, chilly weather forced us inside but it didn't dampen the joy of the evening. Congratulations to your both!
Here is a collection of my favorites.
I was excited and surprised to get a message from my friend Shannon on my FB page earlier in the week, "Sooooo...I understand BU did damn good in CASE. How about that?" It took me a while to track down the results of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education's 2013 Circle of Excellence results, and I was confused when I found them, actually. It took me a moment to realize how well I'd done, and I'm really grateful for that. Also very cool? My coworker Vernon came in second!
Here are the images I entered.

I photographed Lauren and Matt a while back for their engagement session. They were fun to work with then and they were fun to work with on their wedding day too! The two of them have wonderful senses of humor which I think you can see in some of the images.
This is just a quick shot I took of my friend Jenny for the local news yesterday. We have been working very hard in preparation for this fund-raiser for the Center for Performing Arts in Wakefield. Let's hope it's a success! Wanna come?
Jenny Foss of Waltham, a Wakefield High School Alum unpacks a collection of 80s posters at the Scott house. Foss is a member of the Center For Performing Arts and is working with fellow member and WHS grad Cydney Scott on the CPA's upcoming 80s Dance fund raiser.
I was recently hired to photograph C.Jay while he was playing ball so that his mom could make prints for her father for Father's Day. Really nice idea, actually!
I did manage to get some nice shots before the light went. It was an evening game and those overhead field lights always make everything look so wonky.
Yesterday was a beautiful day. My heart was heavy but the weather was light, and I had a nice time with my friends at the Southwick's Zoo!
Jen, Lilly, Gus and Owen head in!
Lilly shows her wild side!
Peacock and his proud feathers.
I was hired today to photograph Xander's first Easter Egg Hunt here in downtown Wakefield. Here's a sampling!
This one's my favorite!
