I'm really excited. I connected with Mothers and Company owner Jeanette Frem yesterday to provide some photos for display in their new, beautiful home in West Boylston, MA.
Jeanette was great. Really nice and so passionate about all causes mom, dad and baby.

In addition to giving me some very nice real estate to show some of my work and let people know about my photo services, she has also offered to host a mini-photo session day for me and her clients. I'm really looking forward to it. It will allow parents to get their child's photo taken and part of the payment will be to bring in a small toy to be donated to Toys for Tots (holidays are just around the corner!). Fun and giving all at once. 'Love me some multi-tasking.

I'll be there between 10 and 2 on November 21st. So, if you think you'll be in the area and would like to book a slot, drop me a line!

Some Old Time Baseball

Today I shot some photos during the baseball game between the Providence Grays and The Essex Base Ball Club in Salem. The two teams are vintage baseball groups that play by the rules and customs of 1861 baseball. No gloves, no helmets. Pretty neat.

I recently received a very calm call from my client, Kristen, who said, "My water just broke so we're heading to the hospital. I know I'm a month early, so if you can't make it (to photograph the arrival) don't worry about it!"

Well, I did make it for the arrival. Sort-of. Mom and Baby are fine, but Mr. JD needed to come out via C-Section, so, no photographer allowed!

I did get shots in the waiting room (the one here was apparently taken the moment JD was born - see the clock?!), and the little guy resting in the NICU after arrival.

Molly and Steve

I met Molly through a high school acquaintance who was kind enough to let her cousin (Molly) know that she knew of me. (Wow, say that five times fast!) Molly and Steve came from Palo Alto, CA to celebrate their wedding with family in Boston. It was a lovely wedding and the everybody seemed to have the best time! Including these single gals who fought over the bouquet. So great!
