Kate in Boston Public Gardens and Beyond

Kate is kind of a big deal. No, I’m not kidding!

I just texted her mom, Allison and asked her to remind me of Kate’s accomplishments in weight lifting. We had talked about it in person and I was so impressed. Allison responded “She has a World Record total points in her weight/age class, she has an American record in deadlift and was the High School National Powerlifting Champion in her weight class last year! She also holds most of the MA state records in all the lifts. It’s crazy!

Kate was a delight to work with. We headed to good old, reliable Boston Public Garden and the surrounding neighborhood. A solid favorite! She was relaxed and go with the flow, and as the end of her session the light was unreal!

Hailey's Senior Session

I first met Hailey when I photographed her for a BU Today video about the F*ck It Won’t Cut it campaign which she was part of. I was excited to meet her and Hanna, and was especially psyched at the traction the campaign received. I knew finding jobs would be easier for them than most newly-graduated college student after such a successful campaign, an that made me really happy for them!

Hailey got in touch because she wanted senior photos and thinking on it realized Hey, I do know a photographer in Boston! I photographed Hailey in downtown Boston a day before her graduation on campus. She had come to town from her new job in DC for the big day. We had a blast shooting around on Newbury Street, Copley Square and in the Boston Public Garden.
