Dear Christina,

As a kid, you were fun, loud and bold and didn't care what people thought of that. As an adult, you are still fun and (sometimes) loud, but that boldness has translated into your professional life where you work hard every day to make a better life and education for your students. How I would love to be a fly on the wall during one of your meetings - setting everyone straight, telling them to do better! I'm willing to bet that they do indeed, do better, with you at the helm. You don't cross Christina. I didn't realize, when we were young, what aspirations you had for yourself. Maybe your thick Boston accent and quick-to-laugh nature unintentionally hid the drive you had within you.  Not that I'm shocked, (I was just too busy laughing my ass off over something stupid while eating chicken fingers with you to really think about it) but It's been wicked awesome to watch you turn into such an impressive person.

Love, Cydney

Is the truth worth pain and suffering or is it better to (give someone) that glimpse of hope? You don’t know what the future holds.
